What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise Quinta Pedagógica Portimão for its free entry, friendly animals, and peaceful, green environment, making it a lovely spot for families and a relaxing outing. However, some reviews express concern over the size of animal enclosures and the welfare of certain animals, suggesting room for improvement in their living conditions.
"Cute little farm-like park. Very green, peaceful, and clean. They have a pretty interesting birds variety and beautiful animals. Goats are so friendly there that they will get on their two to greet and meet you, especially for the grass offering."
Olena Bosenok
"Lovely idea, and the staff were clearly doing their best to look after the animals, but i was disappointed with the size of the enclosures and the isolation of the cow and pony.
The pony was also in pain with a clear injury/abnormality affecting it's left hind limb. This was sad to see, and I hope the pony is having the treatment it so desperately needs.
The outdoor play area and picnic area were great for the children to finish off our morning"
Gillian Griffiths
"Great couple of hours round here, if you go nice and early on a Saturday morning"
