"Book a boat ahead and check sea conditions; crossings can be choppy. Once there, trails are short but dramatic, with clear water and seabirds overhead. Facilities are minimal—pack water, snacks, and sun protection. Respect marked paths to protect nesting areas. It’s a compact adventure that feels far from the mainland without consuming your whole day."

"Awesome island spot to visit. Catch a ferry from Peniche over and spend the day hiking the cliffs, fort, or tours and rental kyaks. There's restaurants at the marina and fort for food and drinks."

"Beautiful island. 20 minutes away from Peniche if you take the speedboat. We were dropped at the fort where we started a glass boat tour through the caves. Which give you some nice views. After that we started to walk the island from the fort to the small beach. It is not a big walk. But small and steep paths. I liked it. The beach is not big at all, but has a very nice view. We spend around 4 hours on the island, and could see everything. Thanks #feelingberlenga for the nice trip."
