What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Pedras Salgadas offers a visually stunning escape with unique treehouse accommodations and a beautiful, tranquil park. While the natural setting and spa treatments are highly praised, some guests have encountered significant issues with room maintenance, service inconsistencies, and a perceived lack of value for the high price. Be prepared for potential quirks alongside the undeniable charm.
"When visiting Pedras Salgadas in winter, the Park and is truly a getaway retreat! The park’s serene landscapes during the cooler months provide a peaceful escape from the bustle of everyday life."

"We stayed as a couple with our 3-month-old baby. The room was in very poor condition, there was a bad smell in the room, as if it hadn’t been aired out in a long time, the floor was creaky, water from the shower leaked all over the bathroom, and although we asked for it to be fixed, the problem wasn't properly resolved. The place felt neglected, old and worn out, which was disappointing considering the high price.
The front desk staff didn’t speak English well. However, the restaurant staff spoke English very well and the food was excellent, breakfast even included a vegan yogurt, which was a great surprise.
We booked a room with a small kitchen, which was nice. There is a supermarket at the town nearby
Anyway, in my opinion, it’s not worth the value for money."

"the hotel profile on a famous booking site was hacked. Therefore, the hotel sent me a link to make the payment, which I later discovered was fake and fraudulent. Unfortunately, I made the payment (according to the terms and conditions, they should have charged me on the same day, so everything matched and could have been real). unfortunately, despite the hotel admitting it was hacked, they did not take responsibility (I paid for my stay 3 times, 2 times to the hackers and 1 time to the hotel). the hotel pretended nothing had happened and told me to take care of it myself with my bank (even though the fault lies with the staff, who certainly fell for the attempt of a criminal to get hold of their password). a hotel like that, where I paid 290 euros for a night during my stay, did not even deign to offer me a small gift for the serious financial damage caused to me (I paid almost 900 euros for a night in the end). they could offer me lunch, or dinner, or for example a massage in their spa. but nothing, nothing at all. unacceptable, I strongly advise against booking because at the first problem (caused by them!) they will not help and will wash their hands of it!"
