What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Parque Florestal das Sete Fontes for its lush, unique vegetation and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for relaxation and family outings. While some find the deer enclosure sad, the well-maintained paths, picnic facilities, and playground are consistently highlighted as positives.
"Nice little park to stop and relax for a while, with couple of well maintained pathways to explore and water features. When we visited (Friday afternoon) we had the place for ourselves. The park also includes a small playground and picnic tables with a grill. There are some free-roaming ducks and geese, but they are not aggressive. Some deer are also kept in an enclosure, a sad contrast to the thousands of grazing cows around. Overall, worth the visit if you have kids, doing some BBQ or stopping by on your way to the Ponta dos Rosais lighthouse. Otherwise, not worth the trip."

"Made me sad to think what this island would have been like, if agriculture hadn’t destroyed so much of it"
Sarah
"It's a very nice park to walk around with your family, it has a place to eat, to chill, there is a place for kids to have fun, there are ducks and many beautiful birds come to drink in a little stream. I just don't give it 5* because it's a shame that they keep many deers in a cage to amuse visitors... Very sad..."
