Reviews Summary
The Ecovia Litoral Póvoa is widely praised as a wonderful, mostly flat 30km path ideal for cycling and walking, offering scenic views of the Portuguese countryside. Its accessibility from Póvoa de Varzim and good illumination for evening use are significant advantages. While generally well-maintained, some users note minor areas needing upkeep.
"This is a wonderful activity starting near Metro station of Povoa de Varzim. Almost 27 kilometres of railway line converted into a walking and cycling track with lights. It passes through Rates, Balazar and reaches Familicão. A wonderful weekend activity on a good weather day. We used it partly to go to Monte São Félix. Sure to use this again shortly."

"Amazing..almost 30km of almost flat (old rail-line) cycle path…"
