"It's an aesthetic trap that has been degrading fast since it was first introduced and a lot less interesting than it looks on instagram photos."

Reviews Summary

Pink Street is celebrated for its unique pink pavement and vibrant nightlife, offering a lively atmosphere with numerous bars and clubs. Visitors enjoy the energetic vibe and the opportunity for a bar crawl. However, some find it can be an 'aesthetic trap' and note that it gets very crowded and can be rowdy, with occasional reports of heavy-handed security.

"It’s a road painted pink 😉
Putting the obvious to one side, this has to be the destination of pretty much every tour, swarms of tourists visit every day to grab a selfie. The street has a good number of bars, street performers and a nightclub which stays open till 4am, so whether you’re looking for a place to grab a beer or somewhere to dance the night away, you can find it all here.
Food wise, it’s pretty standard fare for the most part. Look out for the archway restaurant that sells “canned food”. The entire menu comes from a can. Interesting concept and surprisingly tasty."

George Gibbs

"This charming stopover during the day is definitely photo and Instagram-worthy. The street is lined with restaurants and bars, so expect a lively atmosphere during peak season. Be prepared to handle some crowds."

David Hong

"A short stretch of street where the ground is painted pink and up above were colourful umbrellas. Would make for nice photos when it’s not busy. Cute but overrated; would not make the trip just to see this though."

The transformation has been largely successful, turning Pink Street into one of Lisbon's most iconic and photographed locations.Instagram
