What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for cafes in the Boqueirão area highlight a stark contrast between exceptional food and often poor service. While dishes like breakfast burritos and Turkish eggs receive rave reviews for taste and presentation, some patrons experienced significant issues with staff attentiveness, order accuracy, and overall demeanor. The coffee and atmosphere are generally well-regarded, but the service inconsistency is a recurring point of dissatisfaction.
"Such a great cafe in Lisbon. We went at the right time and managed to get a table straight away - there was a fair amount of outdoor seating on a nice street with shade, however it did get pretty busy! Service was relatively quick. I got the Turkish eggs with chorizo which were delicious"

"What a disappointment, the food was spectacular, the service was horrendous. Two extremes!
We ordered the breakfast burritos, banana bread and pumpkin bread, they were all perfection. The burrito is worth waiting in line and all the bad service.
But the staff did not get us utensils, forgot our banana bread, messed up the orders, forgot our water and mixed up our drinks. They were all over the place and just wanted to get over and done with their job. They really looked miserable.
I couldn’t get the name of our waiter because we barely saw her, but she was really really really really bad at her job."

"Food was great here. The menu has interesting positions and even the simple scrambled eggs had some kick to them with miso.
The staff was also great, and very helpful. And the long working hours was another pleasant surprise."
