"Highly recommended but take good shoes! The sights are amazing. The road is well indicated (see pics). It was one of the highlights of my stay in Portugal. I went from Luz to Lagos. The start is steep but well worth the effort. On a hot day, be sure to bring water and appropriate clothing!"
Filip Lammens
"Incredible walk which I highly recommend, however when the boardwalk ends it can be kind of confusing to continue onto Luz, instead of taking a left continue on straight towards the main larger beach and then you can see the trail continue up along the cliffs, coming from Luz it is better signposted to make it to Lagos. Beautiful walk the entire way."
Daire G
"Great trail with incredible views and rock formations just scattered across the coast. I recommend spending a whole day if you want to take it slow and check out all the rock formations and beaches. Some of the best viewpoints are off the boardwalks, which can be a bit rocky. Wear covered shoes!"
