"The city walls of Lagos are far more extensive than I thought. The best known parts are the Castle and the Porta de São Gonçalo near the waterfront, but they actually almost completely encircle the old town, as can be seen clearly on Google maps in satellite view. One can follow them running along parks, parking lots, the putting garden, private properties and narrow streets. I found them to be quite impressive."

"Nice to walk by/ through but not much to see we thought! Not sure if we missed the main attraction but better historical sites to see in Lagos in my opinion (Roman bridges, castle site, Igregio Sao Roque)"
