What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the beautiful 18th-century palace and its multi-level gardens, offering a pleasant atmosphere and historical charm. The venue is also praised for its diverse cultural events, including concerts and exhibitions. However, some guests noted a lack of detailed historical information within the palace and occasional issues with litter in the surrounding areas.
"There is very little if any information shared about the castle, within the castle. Paying admission only gets you access to the castle's central yard and a walkway around the castle walls. No access to the central tower or turrets. One corner tower is open as a coffee and snack room, and one has a VR experience that is an additional 6 euros. Learned more from the Wikipedia article than by visiting the castle.
There was also a surprising amount of litter in and around the castle, and some Styrofoam blocks repairing holes in the walls. Id like to see a pay to access site put a little more effort into upkeep."
