The museum combines contemporary art, history and human interests and there is so much I could learn from my short visit.
There are two parts of the museum: part I is about the history of the place itself and part II is about the people in Guimarães. Both parts have interactive and multisensory exhibitions. Rather than a museum, to me it's probably closer to a contemporary art gallery.
It's self-aware, honest, and very inviting. Overall the experience is profound. Perhaps the best city museum I've ever visited in Portugal so far."
