What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Praia da Galé West is widely praised for its stunning natural beauty, particularly its golden cliffs and spectacular sunsets. Visitors appreciate the wide sandy expanse and easier access compared to some other Algarve beaches. However, some find the sunbed rentals expensive and the waves can be strong.
"One of the prettiest beaches I have been to. Take a look at the sunset we saw. Also loved that we could walk behind and have direct access from the hotel."
Lilian Gardner
"Very nice Beach but about average for Portugal standards. A double sunbed with a very small thatched umbrella is 20 euros. So small but it's hard to get shade for two and you are constantly moving the chairs. Good service by app for food and drinks, although it only worked with Apple pay not with any international cards or Google pay."
Bea
"Wide and long sandy beach. Ideal for catching some rays and swimming. Sea can have big waves being the Atlantic.
Can get busy. Sun bed and shade hire available.
All good on our visit."
