While the visit is short, the ornate Baroque interior of the main church is also highly praised for its beauty and artistry. Some find the bone chapel a bit somber, but most agree it's a worthwhile and memorable experience for its uniqueness.

"2 euro entrance fee and very nice inside. The bone chapel is made from the bones of a thousand monks, very interesting to see. When you come out just over the road is a cafe to eat and drink and opposit here is another church to go inside which is also very charming."

"I'm not a religious person at all, but this church is small but amazing place to visit. Once you've paid your 2 euros, you enter the main church hall (wow), steeped in history, and absolutely beautiful, dripping in gold decorations of representations & organs.
You move through a small door to further depictions of christ, then you go outside, toilet, and a graveyard where ordinary people are buried, then the chapel which is covered throughout with human bones & skulls, all above 17 years, some skulls look younger, but told no by the attendant."

Smithy

"Quite a short visit. Church is ornate, went to see the bones really. A bit of a strange experience. Very small place so whole visit was only 15 minutes but well worth the 1 euro fee."
