Douro Valley by Train suggestions.
Hi all, Going to Porto with my fiancé on October 16th and on the 20th we play to do a full day trip to Douro Valley. I was looking at tour guides but I'm seeing iffy reviews for a lot of them in my price range (around $100-$150CAD/person). It seems like a better idea to do it…

"I loved the experience to walk to there BUT, I lost the tracking many times. I think the signals should improve. I had a friend who experienced the same"

"The view is amazing, definitely worth the drive, and there was a ‘foodtruck’ with a setup of sofa and seatings. We shared a plancha with 2 glasses of wine. A perfect moment!"
Geneviève Bolduc
"Beautiful view! Caution when following google maps up here, if you are coming from the river it will try to take you up the quickest route which is a local road (old cobblestone) that is very dangerous for anyone who has never done offroading on a mountain (very bumpy and no room for errors or braking). Stick to the major roads (all paved except the part that goes through a small town) and you can get here easily and with little stress. I went in the off season and there was plenty of parking space and hardly anyone here, it was wonderful!"
