Strongly recommend buying tickets in advance. We took a taxi a couple hours before closing and we couldn't get tickets. BUT there's so much to do. You can still walk around and take pictures. I guess you just don't get to go up higher.
There's a nice gift shop and cafe near by, with bathrooms.
Took about 35 minutes on a taxi, there was bridge traffic."
