What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ilha de Tavira offers beautiful beaches and a relaxed atmosphere, with convenient ferry access and a range of accommodation options. While many enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility, some visitors have noted issues with noise from other guests, particularly in the evenings, and occasional maintenance needs in older bungalows.
"Very nice small bungalows on a holiday complex. Convenient shop and bar and restaurant nearby. Also lodging gave us card for train to beach. N8ce stay for a few days out of season."
Helen Hammond
"I conducted a wedding there yesterday, it was my first time. I hope I get the chance to do many more. Lovely ceremony area, food and service was first class"
Leonard Beard
"The reception is very nice and helpful, the bungalows have seen better times and it also depends which one you get...we first got one that really needed refurbishment, they even built their own "table": from the same tails used in the bathroom and kitchen and they glued some plastic "legs" to it, also used in the bathroom as towel rails...but it really is a noisy place...lots of families with children and teenagers and nothing matters to them when they want to enjoy their evenings loudly...disregarding neighbours, every night...some dogs also run freely here, some of them leaving their "markings" on the pavement until cleaning staff cleans it...if you want a more modern place without loud people, especially teenagers, go somewhere else...as the nature here is very nice but spoilt by hords of loud people...especially in the evenings..."
