"Had a wonderful 3 days of stay in this resort. It was my best friends son a Nepali who married an Irish Canadian beautiful lady. So we had a blast. The duplex or cottages were beautiful, spacious, big kitchen, dining & living room. Sunrise & sunsets were one of a kind. Food was SUPERB & the area sprawling. Good to come & play golf too."

Some of the staff were new and had not a clue. Ordered drinks that never came. Got charged for drinks that never came and over charged twice. Apart from that the place was excellent. Good variety of golf holes. The par 3 course was superb. Great fun."

"I stayed 2 nights at Amendoeira Golf Resort in August 2025, and the experience fell a little short of expectations, especially considering its 4-star rating.
On the positive side, the apartment was much larger than average, with a spacious living room, a modern and well-equipped kitchen, and two comfortable bedrooms. The Moorish-inspired design is attractive, and the outdoor surroundings with well-kept gardens provide a pleasant and relaxing environment. Another positive aspect was the shared swimming pool, which was well maintained and enjoyable.
However, there were several details that did not meet the expected standard. The most surprising was the check-out time: 10:00 am, which makes little sense when on holiday—particularly since breakfast runs until 10:30 am. At most hotels, check-out is usually at 12:00 pm.
Another negative point was the parking situation: the space reserved for our apartment was taken by another car. We reported this to reception, but it was never resolved until our departure.
In the apartment itself, a few details were also disappointing: the bathroom fan was extremely noisy, especially at night; the showers had very low water pressure; in one of the bathrooms, the bin had a broken lid; and the outdoor sofas had no cushions — we requested them at reception, but they never arrived.
In summary, the resort has potential and offers good space, design, and common areas, but failed in some basic details that should be guaranteed in a 4-star property. For this reason, my rating is 3 stars."
