What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Zatorland is a highly recommended destination for families, particularly for its impressive Dinosaur Park with moving animatronics that delight younger visitors. While the park offers a full day of fun with various themed areas and rides, some guests note that on-site food is expensive and suggest bringing your own. Minor points of improvement include the gravel pathways and ticket pricing for very young children.
"great for kids 4-8 yo. large areas with trees, great during hot days. okish gastro, good grill. popular and crowded - late hours like 3pm+ are amazing and cheaper than noon. easily 6h of active fun for your kid. quite expensive, but worth it. these dinosaurs are moving! their skin is 1 level worse than in jurapark, but trex type dinos are great, especially their tails :D photos from mitology park. Kinda hated insects park, because its small, tight, hot and crowded, yet the kid enjoyed the rides."

"We recently visited Zatorland and had a truly memorable experience, especially in the dinosaur park! My 3-year-old daughter was thrilled to encounter the dinosaurs, impressively naming each one before we could even read the descriptions. This section of the park was a fantastic educational journey into the prehistoric era for her!
However, while the dinosaur exhibits were a hit, I feel there are areas for improvement that could enhance the experience for families with young children. One concern is the height requirement for ticket purchases. Children over 90 cm are charged full entry, yet there aren't many attractions tailored for kids in the 90-110 cm height range. Considering this, it would be reasonable to adjust the charging policy to start from 100 cm, similar to other European or UK amusement parks, or alternatively, add more suitable rides for toddlers.
Additionally, the walking paths throughout the park are covered with gravel, which creates a dusty environment and can be harsh when children fall. A smoother, resin-bonded, or asphalt pathway would not only reduce the risk of bruises from falls but would also make it easier for kids to ride scooters and for parents to push prams.
Despite these points, our overall experience was very positive. The joy and excitement seen on my daughter's face as she explored the different dinosaurs were priceless. We recommend Zatorland to all families, especially those with young dinosaur enthusiasts!"

Exploring Zatorland's Themed Parks
Beyond the dinosaurs, the Mythology Park transports visitors to a realm of ancient legends and mythical beings. This area provides a different kind of visual spectacle, often featuring impressive sculptures and thematic displays. Complementing these are the Insect Park, where oversized insects create a fascinating, albeit sometimes unsettling, world, and the Lunapark, offering a collection of traditional amusement rides for those seeking classic funfair thrills.
These parks are accessible with a single ticket, allowing for a comprehensive exploration of Zatorland's diverse offerings. The combination of educational exhibits, fantastical themes, and classic entertainment makes it a versatile destination for various interests.
Family Fun and Practicalities
However, some practical aspects have been noted by visitors. The gravel pathways can be dusty and may pose a slight challenge for strollers or scooters, and can be unforgiving if a child falls. Additionally, the height requirement for full-price tickets (starting at 90 cm) has led to discussions about whether the attractions are fully suited for children within that specific height range, with some suggesting adjustments to pricing or the addition of more toddler-friendly rides.
Despite these minor points, the overwhelming sentiment is that Zatorland provides a memorable and enjoyable experience for families. The sheer delight on children's faces as they encounter the park's attractions makes it a worthwhile visit for dinosaur enthusiasts and families seeking a day of engaging entertainment.
