What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise the Church of Saints Peter and Paul for its architectural significance and the potential for a peaceful spiritual atmosphere. However, some reviews highlight concerns regarding the loudness and frequency of church bells, as well as varied experiences with clergy, particularly regarding financial appeals during announcements.
"The church is poorly finished, the music is weak, the sermons are friendly to the faithful, without politics."
Jarosław Madaliński
"The most important and striking issue is the church bells. Basically, I have nothing against the bells themselves and the call to prayer, but: 1. The bells are too loud and may be illegal. 2. The times they ring are: in the morning when the family is asleep, parents after a hard week of work or immediately after a night shift, children after a week of school, and then the bell wakes everyone up first thing in the morning. 3. The bells ring for as long as 2 minutes. It really takes that long. It's enough to quiet the bells a bit, ringing the bells at 10 or a little less. Thirty seconds is perfectly sufficient. Finally, the unsatisfactory attitude of some clergy towards the faithful. Others, on the other hand, are excellent. Unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the negatives.
I always thought that the church was for the people, not the people for the church. I think a common understanding would be enough, and everything would be fine. Maybe someday this will change."

"Hello!
I am outraged!
I was a guest at mass today at the Parish of St. Apostles Peter and Paul.
The priest only talked about money in the parish announcements. Please, Father, you are not a priest but a materialist!!!
I quote the words of the priest during the parish announcements: "There is a crisis, we need money, let everyone, I repeat everyone, pay us money, let them give it to us in named(!) envelopes."
Something terrible. Please think about your behavior and seek a vocation!"
