The Polish are the toughest you’ll find 🇵🇱 I sit down with Rafal Patla, the founder of the Museum of Life under Communism in Warsaw, to ask a burning question I’ve always had: do the Polish people hold a grudge for the atrocities committed to them by these two nations last century? Thanks to the museum for giving us a glimpse into this dark period in the nation’s history. • • #mitchelltravels...

Some fabulous object collages at the Museum of Communism - which is more of a social history museum than a museum of politics or ideology.

"I don't get english comments saying it is not interesting or boring or not recommended.

1. Musem is called Museum of Warsaw Praga, and tells about history and development of Praga district. So if you are not interested in this topic just skip it.

2. Museum is compact and quite modern which i didn't expect.

3. I believe it is really a cool idea to have a museum about this part of the city. For me it helped to answer the main question, why right bank Warsaw is considered less developed than its left bank part and shows its rich history.

4. Ticket price 15zl , cheaper for families

I didn't regret spending a couple of hours here."

"If you have some extra time in Praga (or the timing isn’t right for a walking tour of the neighborhood), check out this small museum. There was a video on the lower level about all the Warsaw typical characters that I appreciated especially. There are also the remnants of a small Jewish prayer room."

Sonia Marcus

"Interesting museum. You have some documents of the start of this part of Warsaw. Why the railways and the main market were so important. Don't lose the opportunity to see the exhibitions downstairs, the Jews halls that you reach from the exhibition and the garage with the 2 old cars."
