What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Ustka Land Museum for its beautifully crafted ship models and engaging interactive exhibits, especially for children. The friendly staff and thoughtful presentation are frequently mentioned positives, making it a worthwhile visit for families and maritime history buffs alike. However, the museum's two-story structure presents accessibility challenges for those with mobility issues.
"Great place! Upon entry, you're given information about the tour. There are two rooms to explore, one on the ground floor and the other on the first floor. There are additional attractions for children, including puzzles to solve, a map, hats, and pirate and sailor costumes to try on and take part in. We spent over an hour in the museum. No one rushed us, and we read through all the information very slowly. You can use the audiobook option and instead of reading, listen to and solve the puzzles on the map.
One of the best places to spend time with children, especially when it's raining.
I liked the exhibition on the ground floor more; everything is beautifully displayed—shells, costumes, etc. The first floor has a more austere, fisherman-like décor.
I highly recommend it. The lady behind the counter is very lovely. We bought our tickets on the spot."

"The Ship Museum in Ustka is a place worth seeing. The small, two-story museum showcases precisely crafted ship models at a scale of at least 1:100. Each exhibit describes the ship's history and the fate of its passengers and crew. There are several attractions for children, such as a gift box of maps, pirate coloring pages, and sailor's clothing for taking photos. A standard ticket costs 22 PLN. You can also opt for a ticket with an audiobook for 25 PLN. The cleanliness of the place is noteworthy. Exhibits are available for purchase. I recommend visiting not only on a rainy day."

"A place worth seeing, with models of ships etched in our memories and many other maritime-related exhibits. A film plays upstairs that tells the history of this place. Children have costumes to dress up in and role-play. The lady at the ticket counter is very friendly. A downside is the location, with its high ground and first floors. It's inaccessible to people with disabilities. Nevertheless, the museum is worth seeing."
