What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Lidzbark Warmiński Castle as a well-preserved and historically significant site, with many highlighting the impressive collection of medieval weaponry and the beauty of the castle chapel. Some note that parts of the exterior may be under restoration, but this doesn't detract from the overall engaging experience inside.
"Yet another amazing castle. Like the others that I have visited thus far in Poland, this is being restored. At least the outside when I was here.
But the highlight for me was all the medieval guns, swords, armor, and canons. Added something else, then just an empty castle where you are left to imagine the battle gear used.
Also, there was a cool depiction of the famous battle of Heilsberg that took place outside of Lidzbark- Warminski."

"Very interesting place to visit. Perfectly restored. About an hour to see inside. Famous polish sitcom is made there ,,Korona królów""

"Top! Beautiful interiour in this well preserved castle, original constructed by the Teutonic knights. Different halls, walls and ceilings in good condition, the main hall impressive. I drove 1u15m from Fromborg to visit this castle. I am very glad i made that decision. It is in such a good shape that it is surely a two hours drive worth. Because after visiting the castle, take your time to explore the city."
