What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning panoramic views of Karpacz and Śnieżka, calling it a 'beautiful track' perfect for photography. The short hike is generally well-received, though the trail's rocky and sometimes muddy conditions, along with the lack of railings, are noted as important safety considerations, especially for families with young children.
"There's a ~2 km loop hiking trail that you can easily cover within an hour. It took us about 1.5 hrs hiking with our 3y4m kid. The trail is not wheelchair accessible and won't work for strollers. It's all stones and roots and you have to almost climb up the rocky "stairs" in some places. It can be muddy after the rain. There are no fences or railings, so be careful while hiking with a kid and hold them tightly.
You can enjoy awesome awesome views over Karpacz from the top and have a panoramic view of Śnieżka if no clouds."

"Wonderful short hike to see panoramic mountain views including Snieska. Took 30 min up with two small children and 20 minutes down. Paid parking is available just down the street near the Apteka for 3zl per hour and a larger paid parking down the hill. There is also a longer 1 hour hike here to go to Wang Church and some other trails too."

"Beautiful track, possible also with little kids."

Capturing the Iconic Views
To make the most of your photography, consider visiting in the early morning. This time often provides the clearest air, reducing atmospheric haze and allowing for sharper images of distant peaks. The golden hour light during sunrise or sunset can also cast a magical glow over the landscape, enhancing the colors and textures of the mountains and the town. Be prepared for varying weather conditions, as clouds can quickly roll in and obscure the view of Śnieżka.
Remember to bring your camera or smartphone with a good battery. The lack of railings at the viewpoint means you can get unobstructed shots, but it also necessitates extra care when positioning yourself for the perfect frame. Many visitors find that a wide-angle lens is ideal for capturing the expansive panoramas, while a telephoto lens can be useful for isolating details of Śnieżka or the town below.
