What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Hel Jurata Forest Cycle Path offers a scenic and varied cycling experience, with beautiful forest and bay views. However, the path's surface is inconsistent, ranging from smooth asphalt to challenging sand and uneven cobblestones, which can be a significant drawback for some. Despite this, many appreciate the well-placed rest stops and the overall natural beauty of the route.
"Good way"
Martin Doležal
"From Władysławowo to Chałupy, in many places, the paving stones sticking out upwards, humps and unevenness - it has not been improved from the beginning.
At the end of Jastarnia, going towards Hel, there is 700 meters of narrow old concrete pavement as a bike path, on which there are many holes and unevenness, and one of such holes is deep and has sharp edges - it is the entire width of the path.
From Jurata to Hel, there is a relatively new paved bike path, but you do not ride on paving stones, but on sand - it would be enough to replace this sand at least once a year.
To sum up - dusty bikes, very dangerous, most of the route in a deplorable condition. I will not go there."

"Well marked, pleasant route. Partly through the forest, partly by the bay. Several resting places along the way (benches, deckchairs), several toilets. In season, on weekends, it is worth starting early in the morning, then during the day there is a lot of traffic."
