"This is one of the most unique museums in Gdańsk and all of Poland given the importance of the extraction, manufacture and trade of amber in the region. I would not miss it, and I would make sure to allocate at least an hour and a half to visit its interesting expositions on the history and present of amber. My favourite one is without a doubt the exhibition of inclusions containing insects and other animals. Great experience!"

"It is one of the Museum of Gdansk branches. This new museum, although housed in the old building, is ultra modern and nearly fully accessible, with comfortable lift to every floor. There are small histrical rooms with a few steps, but they house side exhibitions, so even if you miss them, you will still see the core part of the museum. It is must see for anyone visiting Gdansk, as it combines art, history of the Baltic shore, and natural history, presented in a captivating way. Allow at least 2-3 hours to visit. Be careful, the museum shop at the end of the route can get you into overdraft, but it is worth to buy some amber souvenir, which you can be absolutely sure is original. 😀 Entry tickets are reasonably priced, and there are free tickets for disabled visitors and their carers, so you don't have to wait for Monday, which is free entry day."
