What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Sułkowski Castle Museum to be an interesting and informative experience, particularly appreciating the historical insights and the diverse exhibits. The free Saturday admission is a major draw. While some note that much of the original structure is altered, the museum's collection, including models and dual-language descriptions, makes it a worthwhile visit for understanding local history and art.
"The castle has been rebuilt and added to extensively, to the point that little of the original building is left visible. The staff are very friendly and helpful to answer any questions you may have. Unfortunately most of the exabitions are paintings or have been brought from other regions around Poland. The armoury is small and focused on late 16 century to 18th century weapons and firearms. The models and dioramas are amazing to show how the area looks like back in the day. You get to view the castle at your own pace and every room has a Polish and English description of all the artifacts. I strongly recommend visiting😀 have fun"
