"Great place to visit. The statues are very well maintained. The staff was very helpful. The statues are made of different materials like Bronze, steel, stone, plaster, ceramic, marble etc., of different years from 1930 to 2020. The statues are placed and arranged very well. There is entry fee and no much crowded."

"The villa, located at Świętojańska 17 in Białystok, is one of two surviving examples of a wooden urban residence. In 1889, the plot with a small wooden building was purchased by Major General Baron Mikołaj van Driesen. He completely rebuilt it, introducing furnishings in the spirit of various styles: Moorish, eclectic, and neo-Baroque. Over the years, the villa changed owners, primarily merchants and textile manufacturers. It currently houses the Alfons Karny Sculpture Museum, a distinguished Białystok resident born in 1901. Karny spent his youth in his hometown, but after moving to Warsaw, he regularly visited his hometown. Alfons Karny achieved many artistic successes and is considered one of the most outstanding representatives of the so-called Warsaw School of Sculpture. The museum hosts several permanent exhibitions devoted to the sculptor's life and work: "Portraits of Great Poles," "The Sculptor's Studio," and "The History of a Creative Life." In addition to sculptures, the collection includes valuable woodcuts, diplomas, and documents confirming Karny's international successes. I must admit that I took numerous photos of the building and individual sculptures, but I really wanted to see what is probably the most beautiful ceiling in Białystok. Unfortunately, the room was being prepared for a temporary exhibition, but thanks to the kindness of the museum staff, we managed to do so. This ceiling is incredibly beautiful; see for yourself. I invite you to take a virtual tour."

"An incredibly charming and enchanting place inside an old wooden villa. We won't spend much time there - but it's absolutely worth going there for the atmosphere of this place. Masks and sculptures as if alive - each with a different emotion on the face. I'm glad I got to know this place."
