"The journey to Casaroro Falls in Dumaguete is definitely not for the faint of heart—hundreds of steep steps down (and back up!) left my legs sore for three days. 😅 You’ll also need to cross the river more than once to reach the actual falls, which makes the adventure even more exciting. But once you get there, wow—the view is absolutely worth every step and every muscle ache. The falls and the river are stunning and refreshing, a hidden gem for nature lovers and adventurers. Just come prepared with good shoes, water, and lots of energy!

"What a happy accident to find this wonderful place. GPS didn't take us where we wanted to go, but it took us where we didn't know we want wanted to be. Easily accessible, I highly recommend water shoes because you will be going in and out of the water and rocks. I would also recommend a walking stick, especially for those of us of a certain number of years 🙂. That would help you keep your balance while crossing the rocks that move under your feet in the water."
