What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Crosswinds Tagaytay offers a visually stunning escape with its pine forests and Swiss-inspired architecture, providing a peaceful ambiance. However, some visitors find the entrance fee steep and customer service inconsistent. The property's restrictions on free movement for non-guests are also a point of concern for some.
"We stayed for 3D2N during the recent long weekend. Overall, the place is good. Great views, nice landscape.
• room- we stayed in deluxe studio, in the hotel (the green building). It’s already a bit old. The hot & cold shower was not functioning. It was serviced and repaired in Day 2.
We are in group, and the other room we got was 1bedroom suite. Their Aircon was not functioning in day 2. They have to transfer to another room. They gave a bigger room to compensate.
Both room has its kitchen. We cooked meals, since the price of food from the resto inside was insane.
• staff- we had different encounters with their staff. Overall, I think they need more training in customer service.
1. Lobby—the ladies in the lobby were kind and approachable. Guards are helpful.
2. Breakfast area- not helpful, not attentive, the lady assigned on 8/22 and 8/23 is a bit rude. For both day, we observed that they don’t easily refill the food
, unless u ask. This includes the condiments.
1 of my family member arrived at 9:30 am for bfast. The bfast time is until 10 am. While getting her bfast voucher, the lady commented- “d ba hanggang 10 am lang ang bfast? Bahala sila, magsasarado to ng 10. “ The statement might be for other groups, but I find it improper to say Infront of other guests.
Only the guy in the omelette station on 8/22 and 8/23 is approachable. He is pleasant.
3. Roving guards near the windmill and luasanne— we decided to walk going to the cafe, because it May take time before our room for check in becomes available. On our way back to the hotel, the guard was shouting at us, asking us where are we going. We explained that we are checked in guests. His approach to us was not correct. We reported to the staff in the lobby, but we were told that, the guards were from different property. Not under crosswind.
Overall, staying in crosswind is a good experience. But are we going back? I think there are other hotels in tagaytay that are must try, aside from this place."

"Peaceful place but there's nothing much to see. I'd say the P100 entrance fee is not worth it compared to the P50 and P75 entrance fee of People's Park in the Sky and Picnic Grove where you can see the Taal Lake."

"Crosswinds in Tagaytay has a n entrance fee of P500. Unlike before wayback 2022 when we first visited Crosswinds,it is free , you just need to present the receipt of the restaurant or cafe where you dined in to the guard positioned at the Entrance.
There are no so many attractions you can see inside there. But if you really love nature and want to breathe some fresh air, you may consider to visit Crosswinds.
I think the Big Chair or the Tribe Giant Chair is a new highlight there because I didn't see it in our first visit.
Only few restaurants and cafe can be seen there.
I hope the management of the Crosswinds should consider not to impose entrance fee or make it lower than P500 which is costly. And if ever they continue to impose the entrance fee, they need to add more things to see."
