"I visited this cave after Go Sagada arranged transport and a guide for me. The Sumaguing Cave is the best caves in Sagada. Descending as much as 150 metres down, you'll get to see some incredible formations created by water, some of which have names corresponding to their visual, such as the bird and mother and baby elephants, the tortoise and palm tree.
Near the bottom of the tour are pools where you can take a dip. The water is cool, but not too cold.
Make sure you have the tourist tax and receipt from the Sagada Tourist office. I'm not sure if it's permissible to visit without a guide, but I would not want to go down without one.

We entered the cave late in the afternoon but there are still a lot of tourists going in and out of the cave so it is safe to explore. This is a thrilling experience. Our young tour guide was very accommodating and made our cave experience easy and fun he even made gimmicks for our photos"
