What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Hartman Beach is a local, undeveloped beach best suited for sunrise viewing and leisurely walks rather than swimming due to seagrass and occasional jellyfish. While not a pristine tourist spot, it offers an authentic glimpse into Puerto Princesa life and a peaceful coastal atmosphere.
"I like exploring beaches, and this one was fairly disappointing.
Shallow waters, rough sand, stones can be found and one of the things that I don't like is that the water is really itchy, spotted some few jellyfish and a lot of seagrass.
728 Meters is the exact distance of the whole beach (sand)
I guess you can walk around and take a quick stroll to chill with friends and families.
Overall, 5/10
Not much, it's a little bad but it was a good experience."

"You will pass by a residential area before reaching the beach. It's not properly maintained and looks like a public beach where anyone can go and chill. But I don't suggest you go swim on the beach because I don't think it's clean enough considering there are nearly residential homes. But you may rent a boat and go to the nearest sandbar. They have double decker boats that ranges from 1,500 to 2,000 per day. They also have smaller ones for 1,000.00. I just stayed there for fresh air but the area looks abandoned and needs to be developed. It can be found at the far end of Wescom road. You'll never thought there is a place like that in the City unless you are from that area."
