What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the majestic beauty and refreshing waters of Tumalog Falls, calling it a serene and breathtaking escape. While the journey can be steep, the enchanting scenery and tranquil atmosphere make it a highly recommended visit, especially for nature lovers. Some note that it can get crowded on weekends.
"Tumalog Falls is one of those places that genuinely takes your breath away the moment you see it. The falls are wide and tall, with thin, silky streams of water flowing over mossy rocks, creating this beautiful curtain effect that feels almost otherworldly. It is not the typical powerful waterfall — it is gentle, calming, and incredibly picturesque.
The walk down can be a bit steep, but once you reach the bottom, the cool air and the sound of the water instantly make the trip worth it. The pool is shallow and refreshing, perfect for relaxing your feet or taking a quick dip. The whole area is shaded and peaceful, making it a great spot to slow down and just take everything in.
I also appreciated how clean and well-maintained the place was. Even with other visitors around, it still felt serene. If you are visiting Oslob or nearby areas, Tumalog Falls is absolutely a must-see. It is one of those natural spots that stays with you long after you leave."

"Tumalog Falls is an absolute must-visit when in southern Cebu. Getting to the base of the falls involves a steep descent—so be prepared. While you can walk it (as we did), it’s quite a workout, especially on the way back up. We decided to hike down to take in the scenery and then grabbed a motorcycle ride back up—definitely the smart move after a refreshing swim.
The moment you reach the bottom, the view is breathtaking. The falls are incredibly wide with delicate streams cascading down a mossy rock face, creating a soft curtain-like effect. The water is a beautiful pale turquoise and makes for a refreshing swim. It was fairly busy when we arrived, but the area is spacious, so even with the crowd, it didn’t feel cramped.
Standing under the gentle flow of the waterfall felt magical—it’s more of a mist than a pounding fall, so it’s really enjoyable. We spent around 90 minutes soaking it all in and didn’t want to leave.
There are basic change rooms near the falls, which was convenient. Tumalog is not just photogenic, it’s peaceful, and it genuinely feels like nature’s spa. If you’re anywhere near Oslob or south Cebu then you need to visit these falls."

"Beautiful and stunning water fall!
Took a 3 minute motorcycle ride to arrive at the entrance.
The water is between blue and green, and there're a lot of fish in the river.
The temperature of the water is a bit cold, and I saw some visitors swimming in water ponds.
Great place for taking good pictures and enjoy nature."
