Reviews Summary

Salcedo Saturday Market is a highly-rated community hub in Makati, praised for its diverse culinary offerings and vibrant atmosphere. Visitors enjoy the wide selection of food, fresh produce, and the lively park setting, making it a popular weekend destination. Some find the prices a bit high and note that it can get crowded, but overall, it's considered a worthwhile experience for foodies and those seeking a local market vibe.

"Was worried that this might be a tourist trap (it was indeed very touristy) but the prices were comparable to nearby local supermarkets. There were a huge variety of cooked food, fruits and fresh meat/seafood. We tried their barbeque skewers (had chicken, pork, beef and a squid). The cooked food were freshly barbequed and tasted amazing. We also ordered a watermelon smoothie and that was sweet and refreshing. Very limited tables, seats, but manageable. Very well maintained area, clean and walkable. We also ended buying fruits before we left and found it an extremely easy hassle free process. No haggling needed (or at least we did not feel the need to). Would not hesitate to return."

"Great weekend hangout with friends. It’s become full of younger people wearing dresses and leather shoes (to each their own), but still a great place for a Saturday weekend market. Has the most varied vendors so far."
