What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Malagos Chocolate Museum for its engaging chocolate-making activity and the educational 'tree-to-bar' exhibits. The surrounding resort offers a pleasant environment with animal encounters and good dining options. However, some feel the museum itself could be better maintained and offer more variety in its shop.
"The park around was very lovely. You can feed all kinds of animals and it is relaxing.
The museum itself was a little bit of disappointment though. It looked unalive and it felt a miss that there is no guide at the entrance. The chocolate shop was small whith not a lot of variations as I expected. At the end we ate at the restaurant that was very excellent and the food was tasty!"

"I recommend you go to the museum for the chocolate-making activity. This is the perfect pasalubong as you create the box of chocolates yourself. You can choose from a limited selection of filling and toppings, as well as the shape of your chocolates. Malagos has always been my favorite choice when it comes to making hot chocolate because of how purely indulgent the end result is when cooked right. Their ready-to-eat chocolate bars are rich and bitter, but their tablea is absolutely divine as an ingredient."

"It is a popular and a must-visit attraction within the Malagos Garden Resort. It offers visitors like us a chance to learn about the history of chocolate and how it is made from cacao tree to the final tasty product. The museum provides a comprehensive history of chocolate making by our ancestors from cultivation to production which are shown through informative displays and exhibits. You may also have the chance to experience to make your own chocolate and choose toppings or ingredients such as nuts or marshmallows and more. And of course, you can buy their locally-made chocolates of different flavors and all, and they accept cards! All in all, the experience here is both educational and fun especially if you get to experience it with your love ones. Truly a memorable experience you would love to have with family and friends."
