"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Must-Visit Cultural Treasure in Iloilo!
Museo Iloilo is an absolute gem and a must-see when visiting Iloilo City. As the first regional museum outside Manila, it beautifully showcases the rich history and culture of Western Visayas. The collection is impressive with over 300 artifacts including ancient pottery, fossils, Spanish-era religious art, traditional textiles, and works by local artists.
The exhibits are well-curated and take you on a fascinating journey from prehistoric times through the Spanish colonial period to modern day. The museum building itself is architecturally interesting with its modernist design. Everything is well-maintained and air-conditioned, making it comfortable to explore.

"Museo Iloilo has an entrance fee of 50 PHP. Most of the relics shown here focuses on the rich history of Iloilo.
There were clay jars, real Mickey mouse money (which was astounding to me!! Never in my life would I have ever imagined to see Mickey mouse money in the flesh!), a real gold death mask, wooden carvings or religious statues and saints.
It's quite hot when we visited. Only a few A/C units were found inside but there are several industrial type electric fans that make up for it.
You shouldn't miss this place since it's just a 2-minute walk from the National Museum of Iloilo."
