What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Bulabog Puti-an National Park for its excellent jungle hikes and the opportunity to explore numerous caves. The affordability and the chance to connect with nature are significant draws. However, some note that the park's development is basic and could be improved, and caution is advised regarding slippery trails and cave conditions.
"Excellent hike through the jungle, easy trail for most of the walk with a more challenging last few hundred meters. It is worth hiring a guide as they know every plant & animal species you come across & are very knowledgeable as well as they look out for your safety. Hike took about 1.5 hours with plenty of stops & photo opportunities along the way. We highly recommend this trip if in Iloilo. Special thanks to our guide Carl."

"Park was very nice. I recommend visiting during the day and bring lots of water and food."

"A reforested protected landscape area mainly compost of Gmelina, Narra, Mahogany, Teak, Dao, Palosanto and many more different species of trees. The landscape has 21 caves and crevices home to insect and fruit bats. The caves are also home to tailless whip scorpions and red tarantulas. Guizo cave accommodates hundreds of insect bats and attracts lots of green rat-snakes which are sometimes mistaken as a cobra. Lots of vandalism has been observed inside of different caves."
