"Must visit! One of my top 3 spots in Bohol. Also you have the amazing waterfall nearby.
Make sure to take the 10-15 minutes walk to the top of the hill with a local guide. On one hand this way you support the local economy for a small tip (which you decide how much) but the view from there is a lot more beautiful than from the parking lot/road side."
Ottó Sebestyén
"Relatively small wet rice cultivation area in a hilly terrain. Terraces are certainly picturesque, mostly when the rice is young or the terraces have just been irrigated; there are however quite a few other, picturesque and scenic rice fields scattered over the southwestern parts of Bohol.
The restaurant is quite good; staff will offer to call a local guide who can show you good photo spots and answer questions in fluent English.
Check the photos to see what the terraces will look like in different months; Dec thru Feb or August, September offer more attractive views than May and June."
