The 15 Kilometer back and forth hike was rewarding considering the majestic view of the Mt. Pinatubo.

"Mount Pinatubo Day Trip – Totally Worth It!
We left Manila super early for a 5-hour drive to Mount Pinatubo. It was long, but the roads were decent, and we had snacks and music, so time flew by. Once we got to the jump-off point in Capas, the fun really started.
The 4x4 jeep ride was wild — super bumpy, super dusty, and super fun. It felt like riding through a desert with crazy views all around. We crossed rivers, drove over lahar fields, and even had to hold on tight a few times because of the rough terrain. Definitely not your average road trip!
After the jeep ride, we started the hike to the crater. It was actually pretty easy — took us about 45 minutes, mostly flat with just a few small uphill parts. The scenery along the way was cool, with canyons and streams, and the weather was kind to us (thankfully not too hot).
