Reviews Summary

Visitors find the Angono-Binangonan Petroglyphs historically significant as the oldest rock art in the Philippines, with free entry being a major plus. However, the site's facilities are considered underwhelming, and the steep, winding roads require careful driving. Some also noted issues with staff professionalism and a lack of interactive exhibits. InstagramReddit

"If you would like to see the Petroglyphs, make sure the brakes of your ride is in good condition because the route going here has very steep and sharp curved roads. Entrance is free and it would have been great if they also sell souvenirs because there are some souvenir items inside the registration area that was not for sale. It is displeasing to see vandalism markings on some part of the cave, I hope they can preserve these cave markings so that future generations could see it too."

"The short tunnel and brief walk before reaching the museum was actually a fun little adventure and added to the experience. However, once inside, the museum felt a bit underwhelming. While the petroglyphs themselves are fascinating and worth preserving, the facilities could really use more interactive exhibits rather than relying mostly on printed information about the discovery. A small café or resting area would also encourage visitors to stay longer, instead of it feeling a bit anti-climactic after taking photos and then heading straight back.

We also had an uncomfortable moment when the security guard casually started asking my best friend personal questions about her life and relationship status. While there were no direct advances, it came off as inappropriate and unprofessional. It made the visit less enjoyable than it could have been.

Overall, worth a quick visit for the historical significance, but improvements in visitor experience and staff professionalism would go a long way."

"Oldest known art in the Philippines, dating back to around 3000–2000 BC (Late Neolithic). A collection of 127 carved figures humans, frogs, and lizards etched into a volcanic rock shelter 25 m wide and 3 m high.

- When we get there–there's no entrance fee, nag register lang kami and nag iwan ng 1 valid ID. If one group kayo pupunta you're only required to submit one ID for the whole group.

- There's no fee rin kapag sa Thunderbird ka pumasok, hihingan ka lang nila picture before exiting for proof na you visited Petroglyphs.

You must visit this place, nakakatuwang may mga preserved art tayo came from our own history. It embodies the Filipino culture within us."
