"How to Reach Capua Falls from Plaza de Armas, Arequipa:
1. Start at Plaza de Armas: Head towards Santa Catalina Street and walk to the Grau Bridge (Puente Grau).
2. Catch Bus Number 4: At the Grau Bridge, board bus number 4, fare 1 sol per person, which travels to the northern part of the city. Request the driver to drop you off at "Paradero 16," where you can catch small vans to Yura.
(Please, have some cash with you as drivers may want to charge you more at any point of this trip, specially if the see you are not a local)
3. Transfer to Small Vans: From "Paradero 16," board a small van heading to Yura, a traditional town. The fare for this leg of the journey is 2.50 soles per person.
4. Arrival in Yura: In Yura, you’ll find restaurants and the starting point for the hike to Capua Falls. The hike's duration depends on your fitness level, ranging from 30 minutes to an hour and a half.
5. Trail Information: The trail is well-marked. Expect a fair number of visitors, especially on weekends and holidays.
