The combination of culinary exploration with historical and neighborhood insights is a major highlight, making it a highly recommended experience for any visitor to Lima.
"My husband and I did the daytime tour. This food tour was not just a food door, but also a walking city tour. Amy, our guide was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. The selection of cafés and restaurants and the portion size was phenomenal. My favorite were the Lucuma milkshake, the ceviche experience and the Pisco sour tutorial. Loved the tour of the historical Barranco neighborhood, and the trip to the grocery store and the fruit tasting that Amy had arranged for us. Loved the culmination of the door at the Huaca Pucllana ruins and restaurant. Would highly recommend this tour. It’s also vegetarian friendly."

"This tour was curated well. All the food, drinks & fruits were good quality. The pace and group size of the tour were also good. Arturo, our guide was very energetic and gave a lot of information. My favorite stop was Limana, where they taught you how to make the best pisco sour & coconut ceviche. The additional 2 appetizers they served were also good especially the fish. The last restaurant we visited at the archaeological site was nice however in terms of the flavors of the food it was just okay, none of them really stood out especially after Limana. But I still consider this as very good food tour and would recommend if you’re in Lima. Bonus: you also get a walking tour to enjoy Barranco area."

"I went on this tour on August 2025 on the first day in Lima. It was very well organized, the food was amazing and the small size of the group made the difference in the experience. Patricia was very knowledgeable about each dish and clearly excited to be with us. She was also happy to help make recommendations for the rest of my trip. I would highly recommend the tour as a starting point for the food experience in Lima."
