Reviews Summary

While the main collection isn't fully displayed, the current offerings are highly recommended and provide a great cultural experience. Some note the museum is still developing, with potential for future ticket sales.
"The bulding is not holding their main collection yet, but they have temporary exhibits. From June to December 2024 they are showing a wonderful exhibit of traditonal or "folk art" with extraordinary pieces from different parts of Perú. Pieces from well know masters of their craft, from the 20th and 21st century, with roots in milenial craft traditions. Highly recomended. Free entrance and free parking. A great addition to your Pachacamac Archeological site visit."

"The future building of the national museum of Peru. Currently it is not fully operational, there are some few temporal exhibitions. They also show the 5 floor building (3 underground) and the roof as part of the visit. According to the guide, they are partially open so they can evaluate routes, capacity, interaction with public and private transportation and things like that. You can visit by free (but soon, they will start selling tickets) and arrive there by taxi, bus and waking and also in your car (they offer parking slots). Don’t forget to schedule your visit and show your covid vaccination card."
