Reviews Summary
The ChocoMuseo Cusco is widely praised for its fun and educational chocolate-making workshops, with staff often highlighted for their engaging personalities. However, some reviews mention that baked goods and cookies in the cafe can be dry or taste artificial, leading to disappointment for those expecting fresh factory products.
"Really cool experience for the whole family. The guy leading the chocolate making class was Luis and he was great. Super entertaining and fun! I loved that we got to learn a lot as a family and the kids were super engaged. We did not eat here (other than chocolate) but I saw others eating and it looked good. I would for sure recommend this as a fun thing to do with the family!"
Michael Hoffman
"Cool museum experience but the chocolate cake is dry and tasted stale, the alfajores cookies with chocolate were also dry and tasted artificial. Very disappointing considering we’re in the factory where it’s supposed to be made fresh.
Overall wouldn’t recommend the restaurant. The cacao tea was pretty tasty and unique, however.
We didn’t do the workshop. It seemed interesting but maybe overpriced."
Marko Gudic
"We did the chocolate making workshop and absolutely loved it!! We learned so much about the chocolate making process, were able to try so many different types of chocolate, and got to make our own!! Also filling the molds with chocolate and toppings was a blast, a great souvenir!!"
