Varirata National Park, an hour drive from Port Moresby. . The long loop is a bit more than 8 Km. With moderate walking effort we complete it below 2h30m. . The route is a bit technical going through small rivers and high gradient climb that sometimes we need to grab some roots to pull ourselves up. It's very slippery in several segments, especiallygoing down hill. . Overall it's a very good hike ...

George V

"It is a very nice place to spend weekend with family and enjoy the stunning views from the top of the Koiari mountains in Central Province and looking down to Port-Moresby, National Capital District.

The place it self is so cold, silent and quiet, living all the stress and unwanted noise from the City, then enjoy the stunning views and the coolness of the ever green Forest while listening to the beautiful and sweet sounds of various types of Birds.

It's gonna take you less than 3 hours to drive from the city up to Varirata Park depending on the traffic and the type of vehicles that you gonna drive up there....

Just a trip there and see it yourself......🙏👍"
