"Awesome. The cave is a must see imo. You see sloths and all varieties of wild life. There's whip spiders and crickets you don't have at home and of course the bats, you can also see sloths along the way there. Truley an amazing place"

"Brilliant bit of adventure. Not sure about deals or cost if you take a tour. We had our own dingy to get there. So was just paying entry fee. They have all the gear you need for the tour. Helmets with head lamps, shoes and gloves. Just getting there was really cool headed up this tiny river. Lots of wildlife. There's a couple guides speak English too."

"We’ve done well over 30 excursions through the years and this was my absolute favorite! My son and I decided we wanted to do something besides hike in the jungle, body surf or snorkel and being on an island this small really limits your options. My wife looked online to see what options we had and found the usual, Zipline and different beach tours as well as the cave tour, Normally this wouldn’t have been something on my list of things I would be interested in so I was a little hesitant to pull the trigger.Typically if you’ve seen one cave you seen them all. This one was different from the start you have to take a boat to get to it, you go through a couple mile long mangrove slough with lots of twists and turns. Once we got to the lodge, basically just a large covered porch We were given some instruction about the hike and what to expect. They gave us water shoes, helmets with lights. It’s a short hike to the cave entrance but we walked slowly as we were looking for sloths, Once we entered the cave we saw hundreds of bats hanging from the ceiling and were informed they had 3 different species that live in the cave, although they were all in the first hundred feet or so. We encountered water almost immediately and it just kept getting deeper. Much more climbing around than expected as this isn’t your hand rail and paved path cave tour. Some spots you climb through crevices and up small 2 and 3 tier pitches, much more adventurous than I had expected. After we reached the final pool the guide informed us we could climb up the next pitch and jump into the pool if we wanted to its probably a 5 foot drop, I was a little concerned about hitting the bottom, but apparently it’s not an issue, not sure how deep the pool was but I tried and never touched the bottom. The guide told us this was the turn around for the tour unless we wanted to go to the next pool but it was a little harder section to navigate. It was, but felt the next portion was better than the first, with harder pitches, bigger ledges and a lot smaller cracks to crawl through. We Probably went another few hundred yards “hard to tell in a cave”. The second pool was bigger and the ledge was taller. The guide said that the cave went completely through the mountain and was roughly 6 miles long. Would love to come back and do the entire system. I would say the entire tour last an hour and half with 15 minutes of hiking included. I’m not sure everyone would enjoy this as much as my 12 year old son and I, but we both agreed that it was by far the best excursion to date.
I might add when we went it was just the guide, my son and I but he was fluent in English and felt as though he really wanted us to enjoy the tour. This is a family owned and run tour and I never felt as though it was about the money as he seemed to have as much fun we did. Had my wife and daughter came along, it would’ve been a totally different experience. They both agreed that it wasn’t something they would’ve enjoyed. If your adventurous, this is your tour, if not this could be a a nightmare. so keep that in mind if your planning on booking this tour. A big treat was seeing 4 different sloths on the way home in the mangrove sloughs."
