"The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Building is truly an architectural gem and a historical landmark of Karachi. I recently had the privilege of visiting this iconic building with my friends for a meeting with the Honorable Mayor of Karachi, and the entire experience was outstanding.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the building’s majestic colonial-era design, which beautifully represents Karachi’s heritage. The interior is well-preserved, spacious, and gives a strong sense of history and governance combined. Security and staff were highly professional, ensuring smooth entry and guidance throughout our visit.

The meeting with the Mayor was very insightful, and it was clear that the KMC team is committed to serving the city with dedication. The environment was welcoming, clean, and well-organized, making the experience even better.

If you appreciate historical architecture, civic importance, and good governance, this place is a must-visit. It’s not just a government office—it’s a symbol of Karachi’s legacy and progress.

"The architect of this Anglo Mughal style work of stonemasonry was James S.C. Wynnes, as mentioned on one of the plaques inside the building. To impart a touch of Muslim architecture to the design, he came up with cupolas and arched shapes, which is why the corners of the building are topped by big domes. There is eye-catching detailing in different sections of the stonework as well."

"A marvelous piece of british era architectural heritage, a pre-partition more then century old building on bander road still stands strong and beautiful. It is wel maintained, net and clean from inside and outside, evident by a green and fresh garden within the premisis and a working clock tower at the top. A worth visiting place and one can not pass without taking snaps. Currently being used by karachi metropolitan corporation(KMC) department, by the way five stars are for building, and for KMC and its surrounding one star."
