"Serene place in Pahalgam just before you enter in market area (if you are travelling from Anantnag). Even though its popular as selfie point and good for walking & stunning views, it is suggested that DONOT TOUCH the water in river here as immediately before that there is a STP and the treated water gets disposed directly in the river! "Located at the entry point of pahalgam. It is the base camp for annual amarnath yatra. Tents are available here for night stay. A mini market is also available here. There are 10-12 free langers in the base camp. A medical camp is also there. Very good arrangements are provided by the government."
