What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Raysut Cliff Viewpoint for its stunning panoramic views of Salalah and the coastline, highlighting its peaceful and serene atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and nature appreciation. Some note its beauty is amplified during the Khareef season.
"We had the pleasure of visiting Salalah on a 3-day, 3-night group tour during the Eid holidays, and the experience was truly refreshing. Travelling with colleagues added a special energy to the trip, making Salalah the perfect backdrop for unwinding, bonding, and exploring.
Although our trip took place at the beginning of June, just before the full onset of Khareef, we were fortunate to enjoy a taste of Salalah’s cooler climate and even experienced light rain. However, we did not witness the captivating waterfalls the area is famous for, as they had not yet fully come alive.
If you want to see Salalah in all its glory, particularly for the waterfalls and the lush, misty-green transformation, I highly recommend planning a visit between mid-July and late August. Salalah is best experienced during the Khareef season, which typically runs from late June to early September, with August being the peak of its natural beauty. During this time, the region transforms into a lush paradise, characterised by misty skies, light rain, and stunning waterfalls that draw visitors from all around.
This trip was more than just a getaway; it was a perfect balance of nature, leisure, and camaraderie. It was a well-deserved escape that left us all feeling recharged."

Nestled in the hills with stunning panoramic views, it’s the perfect spot to disconnect from the hustle and soak in the beauty of nature. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and quiet — you could sit there for hours without a care in the world.
I spent the evening enjoying the calm breeze and sipping on sheesha, and honestly, it was one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve had in a long time. Whether you go solo or with friends, this spot is perfect for reflection, conversation, or just enjoying the view. Highly recommended if you’re in Salalah and want a serene escape."
