Reviews Summary

Visitors are consistently awestruck by the dramatic 'Oman's Grand Canyon' views and the unique experience of hiking the Balcony Walk. The abandoned village adds a historical dimension, though some express concern over litter. The challenging terrain is noted, but the overall sentiment is one of profound natural beauty and a memorable adventure.

"Abandoned village at the end of the balcony walk; it's amazing how humanity decides to make such an inhospitable ground as a village and seems like they found ingenious way to grow agriculture's too on the cliff sides (observe the cliffs closely within the village and you might notice some of it are manmade for vegetable plots).

It's a pity though we tourists might be making the place more inhospitable with our trash and to my disguise to explore one of the houses to find a fresh turd!

Yes there's no toilets or such in the area but perhaps we could dispose of waste in a better way.

Anyhow, it's an interesting site to explore and see some of the ingenuity of mankind in making livable spaces in the most interesting place."
