The best time is in the summer months. 📌 Lysefjorden I highly recommend the famous hikes to Preikestolen and Kjeragbolten! Start early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the crowds. Many appreciate the blend of accessible trails and rugged paths, as well as the peaceful atmosphere just a stone's throw from the city. Some note that not all paths are wheelchair-friendly, but overall, it's considered an excellent place to relax and explore.

"Awesome location for hiking and biking. The availability of trails is anything from mild paved trails leading to a coffee shop or Rocky climbing up to the top. There is also a ton of history to observe here revolving around the harbor and it's protection over the years."

"Odderøya is a small island which people can walk along and complete the entire path in half of a day. Some paths are suitable for wheelchair, some are not. There are also small paths from the main route to go for a beach and visit previously military bases.

Although it is not far away from the city, it is quiet and peaceful. There is also bbq in place (bring your own tray), caffe and toilets available.

Awesome place for picnic, jogging and relaxing."
